The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum (RMQM) – January Events & Calls for Entry

RMQM Fabric Challenge Call for Entries Winners 
RMQM challenged quilt makers to create their own one-of-a-kind quilt made from one of the four fabric lines reproduced from four quilts held in the Museum collection. The four quilts from the collection will be on display along with all the winning quilts.

Sunday at the Museum:  

Jane Mathews Paper Art Quilts  January 13     We will learn of Jane’s quilting passion and how she creates her art from recycled papers.   Enjoy a lecture, view the current show and enjoy treats in the museum’s gallery space.  Museum doors open at 11.  Presentations 2-4pm.  Visit http://www.rmqm.org/sundays-at-the-museum.htm for more details.  Free for members and $10 for nonmembers (includes exhibit admission).

Classes and Guild presentations-  RMQM also has a variety of classes and guild presentations.

The museum is at 200 Violet Street, Suite 150, in Golden, CO.  It’s easy to find with map searches.   There is plenty of free, close parking.    Open Monday through Saturday 10-4; Sunday 11-4.   Gallery admission: $8 adults; $7 seniors; $4 students.  Active military & RMQM members free.   Visit rmqm.org or call 303-277-0377 for details on all museum events.
